I have been passionate about creating beautiful jewelry since 2006.  I studied architecture before realizing that my interest in designing objects of comfort and beauty could be more immediately realized through jewelry and metal smithing.  Since then I've never looked back. 

Through spontaneous design, creative hand-forging and intentional fabrication, Spiritjoy Designs result in jewelry precious with meaning that appeals to the eye as well as the soul.  My work is crafted in my home studio near Lake Merritt Oakland, with my own two hands one piece at a time or in small batches.

My practices of sustainability include much consideration to how objects might last many years of wear.  Many of the materials found in Spiritjoy Designs come from eco-conscious sources, re-purposed jewelry, and private stashes of recycled metals.  Each piece is personally handcrafted, soldered and rusticated with care using low impact and biodegradable supplies
