Kaya Sattva has had a love affair with creating jewelry since 2006.  She studied as an architect before realizing that her interest in designing objects of comfort and beauty could be more immediately realized through jewelry and metal smithing.  Since then she's never looked back. 

Through spontaneous design, creative hand-forging and intentional fabrication, her Spiritjoy Designs result in jewelry precious with meaning that appeals to the eye as well as the soul.  Her work is individually crafted in her North Oakland home studio, one piece at a time.

Many of the materials found in Spiritjoy Designs come from eco-conscious sources, re-purposed jewelry, and private stashes of recycled metals.  Each piece is personally handcrafted, soldered and rusticated with care using low impact and biodegradable supplies.
